Support Equal Access Across Europe

Your contribution strengthens advocacy, policy engagement and cross-border cooperation to protect the rights of guide dog users throughout Europe.

Supporting European Guide Dogs

A guide dog is a lifeline for a blind or partially sighted person — offering freedom, safety, and independence. Yet many still face refusals, confusion, or illegal discrimination.

EGDF works across Europe to defend rights, challenge discrimination, campaign for equal access, and support the lifelong partnership between a person and their guide dog. We raise awareness, share best practice, and work with governments, businesses, and transport providers to make access fair and consistent.

To strengthen this work, we are also developing a trusted European verification and education platform to help businesses recognise genuine assistance dogs, train staff clearly, and reduce uncertainty at doors, check-ins and boarding.

Your donation helps us continue all of this work — from campaigning and advocacy to education, guidance, and the development of tools that make life safer and more equal for blind people everywhere.
